Manhattan
Manhattan is a major commercial, financial, and cultural centre of both the United States and the world. Most of the people connect New York’s name with Manhattan.
Although it is the smallest and most urbanized of the five boroughs, Manhattan is a borough of culture, and commerce, famous for its landmarks, tourist attractions, museums, world class boutique shops and universities.
Harlem is one of the city’s biggest neighbourhoods and a historic centre for African American music, art and culture. A walk to the Upper East Side offers fine arts at the Metropolitan and Whitney museums, along with high-end shopping in Madison Avenue boutiques. Central Park is located between the two. It is an oasis for residents and visitors alike. If you like art galleries and nightclubs then you should visit the Chelsea neighbourhood, in the South of Midtown. If you are interested in shopping, NoLIta is ideal for you, while the bordering East Village is known for its funky offerings, with experimental music clubs, theatres and cutting-edge fashion.
With so much going on in Manhattan, it is a gurantee that everyone who visits New York City will be fulfilled.
