Anaheim is the second largest city in Orange County (California) located near of Los Angeles and the tenth largest in California. Back in the middle of the 19th century, the city was founded by fifty German families with an expertise in viticulture and wine. Therefore, the city used to have an agricultural economy in the 19th century with the production of oranges. Then, in the mid-50’s, it became a tourist city with the construction of one famous theme park and known worldwide as “the happiest place on Earth: Disneyland Park. You may also see other interesting places in the Platinum Triangle: a stadium, the Angel Stadium, an indoor arena the Honda Centre and the Anaheim Convention Centre.

Anaheim offers the possibility to use buses with the Orange County Transit Authority, metros with the Metrolink, trains with the Amtrak California. The prices tickets are inexpensive. The most common and useful transports to travel around the city is the metro as you can avoid traffic and travel quickly by yourself or with your family.
