You will find in the city of Lausanne excellent restaurant and cafes, parks and all the advantages of large cities without violence and insecurity. Bars generally close at 1-2pm while clubs stay open until 3-4am.

Shopping
Most of shops are in the city centre: larger supermarkets, departemental stores and well-known franchise selling familiar brands.There are weekly markets selling fresh local produce and local specialities on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Sightseeing

 Most visitors spend their time at the Olympic museum. But the Lausanne most-visited site is the Gothic Cathedrale Notre Dame, a masterpiece.
