The city of beautiful lakes
Interlaken is a famous tourist destination located in Switzerland. It is popular because of its beautiful view and its activities: hiking, walking, swimming, riding, windsurfing, playing tennis and playing golf. There are two beautiful lakes located on each side of the town. This city is a perfect destination to have a charming, splendid and wonderful trip. Indeed there is everything that you could need: Attractive place, shopping and place to have fun.
Sightseeing
This city is well-known for its beautiful landscape and there is a specific place to enjoy that: The Harder. It is a bridge situated at an altitude of 1.322 meters and located in the Harder Alpine Wildlife Park. It offer tourists a magnificent view of Interlaken lack and of Jungfrau area. Schynige Platte is a good place to go hiking and finding a panoramic view of the Alps. If you want to discover the local history there are the Touristik-Museum, the Interlaken monastery and the Interlaken Castle. However, if you want to relax you can go the “Lake Thun” or to the “Lake Brienz”: the first one is on the west side of the town and the second one on the east side.
Shopping
Höheweg avenue it is the main place to do a shopping trip. You will find famous shops such as “Alscher” which sell local things, “Swiss Knife Center”, “Swiss chocolate chalet”, OMEGA and “Schuh Pastry Shop”.
Night Life
There are plenty things to do in Interlaken from sunset to sunrise. Indeed there are many bars and night clubs. Billiard, bowling and the Casino of Interlaken can be a good place to have fun. You can also try to eat local food and end the day by going to the cinema.

Public transportation
It possible to go to Interlaken by car or by bus. The city can be easily explored on foot. However there are buses and rail stations.
