Information and fact
Nightlife
In the evening, tourists are flocking to the streets in search of fun and are certainly not disappointed! The discos are many and of every kind (commercial, underground, hardcore, even with male strip), the PR likeable, but at times intrusive, given that at any time of the day or night you heel offering reductions for each local or disco. The selection of hotels, guest houses, camping is wide and suitable for any budget. In the city there are many restaurants, often, however, of dubious quality. Many fast-food, of course, appropriate to the invasion of young people in the summer.
Shopping
Commerce is the second most important economic activity in Lloret de Mar. All kinds of items and products can be found in the town’s extensive and varied commercial offering, which comprises one thousand retail outlets. Commercial fairs and activities are held throughout the year, including the Botiga al carrer festival, where local shops sell their wares in outdoor stalls, and the Mediaeval Fair.
The weekly street market held every Tuesday and the Municipal Market are also well worth a visit.
Sightseeing
The town itself is not particularly attractive: large buildings, chaotic traffic and at any time of the day or night. Its flagship are undoubtedly the beaches Lloret, Fenals, Sa Boadella, Santa Cristina, Canyelles and Treumal. Extended along the 7 km, the beaches are really nice, clean and well stocked with equipment and services, and for this reason has been attributed to their Blue Flag.
