Night-life in Canaries is really entertaining and amusing. In Gran Canaria and above all in Las Palmas the majority of bars and pubs are opened until 2.00 a.m. and discos or clubs until 6.00 a.m. Night-life is an important attraction and one of the most popular is the Tresxuno. From Las Palmas to Maspalomas and Playa del Ingles, Gran Canaria offers to thousands of visitors each year numerous options to have fun.
Shopping
The Canaries Islands have a special status within the EU, which means that goods such as Alcohol, Tobacco, Perfumes and Electronics are cheaper than elsewhere in Europe. Las Palmas is the best place where you can go to do shopping and is so much important also because a lot of trip are done also by plane from other islands of the Archipelago then you can really find what you want.
Sightseeing
There are a lot of places that are recommended to see in Gran Canaria and it happen also because there are over than 60 beaches that you can visit. Some important place to see are the Maspalomas dunes that are really striking and fascinating, the Roque Nublo where you can take an unforgettable walk or the Botanical park of Maspalomas. What you have to remind is that Gran Canaria is an island in the ocean and the best beaches are Amadores, San Agustin, Puerto Rico or Las Canteras.

You can find a good public transport links in the area, with local buses connecting you in the island. Gran Canaria is well connected also with other island of the archipelago. Another way of transport that is common in Gran Canaria is rent cars, scooters or bikes. There are also taxies but are more expensive than other way of transport.
