Maastricht is a dutch city located in the southern province of Limburg. It has a population of 119,664 inhabitants and is split in half by the Meuse a major river claimed as the oldest river in the world. Maastricht is a very popular tourist destination which contains some magnificent buildings and culture, taking the form of plenty of old houses and buildings, lovely cathedrals and a spectacularly cobblestoned town centreand. With it’s renowned tertiary education range Maastricht is one of the largest urban university towns in the Netherlands.
