Rimini is situad in the region Emilia Romagna and is one of the most famous cities in the east coast and it is known for night-life and big events, such as foam parties and beach parties. The beach of Rimini, called Lungomare, has more than 200 bars/restaurants and from April to October it is the center of night-life, with music, fireworks and themed events. The center of Rimini, however is full of historical and cultural places to see such as the Augustus Arch, the Malatesta Temple or the Castel Sismondo.

Sightseeing
During the summer a miniature train takes you from the beach area to the historic centre to discover the most important venues in Rimini.

There is also the Federico Fellini Airport, airport of Rimini and San Marino. Rimini's public transport includes the Rimini–Riccione trolleybus line, which links the city with the nearby seaside resort of Riccione.
