England is the heart of the United Kingdom bound by Wales in the West, Scotland in the north, the Irish Sea in the north-west and the North Sea on the east. The English culture is well-known all around the world for its fish and chips, tea time and driving on the leftside of the road.
Englands landscape extends from the upland hills to the lowlands, through to the urban fringe, into the networks of green space in their cities, towns and villages, and on to their varied coastal seascapes. England is also known for its history which includes glorious castles, famous museums, picturesque villages and majestic cathedrals. One of the most popular English poets and playwriters in the whole world is William Shakespeare, who is considered being the greatest writter in the English language.

Transport
London is connected to the rest of England with a high performance transportation system. Manchester and Birminghan are also major transportation hubs connected to the heart of England. All around England you will find local buses, which connect you to all of the towns in the area.
Health
There are no health risks related with traveling to the UK. Emergency treatment in the British National Health Service is free for visitors. However, charges are made for routine medical care. Australia, New Zealand and EU countries have reciprocal health agreements with the UK. It is suggested for visitors from other countries (including Canada, South Africa and the US) to get good medical insurance.
