Wicked the Musical is one of the most popular shows in London's West End and is currently showing at the Apollo Victoria Theatre. The Musical is based on the acclaimed novel by Gregory Maguire who recreated the world of Wizard of Oz and gave it a Wicked new twist. Wicked the musical has been playing for 7 years and has currently played over 2,926 performance here and on Broadway.

'Wicked' has broken numerous box office records around the world such as when it opened in the West End it made £100,000 in the first hour of going on sale. Wicked the musical haas been seen by almost 2 million people and was nominated for ten 2004 Tony Awards, winning those for Best Actress (Idina Menzel) along with Scenic Design and Costume Design. It also won six Drama Desk Awards and an Olivier Award for Most popular show.

Wicked the Musical is a modern tale of an unlikely but strong friendship between two young girls who couldn't be more different when at sorcery school together. The story then turns into the waging war between Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West and whether good can overcome bad and that love can conquer all.
