Description

Verona is probably best known for Romeo and Juliet, the fantastic tale of love set in 14th century. A tale written by Shakesphere, which made the city so very famous. Many people have considered Verona as a more pleasant and relaxed place to visit than for example Turin. For the people who are interested in history, especially history of Italy, Verona is a perfect travel destination. One of the most famous sights is the Arena, a spectacular Roman amphitheatre. In Verona it is possible to discover the transition of Westerm European art from late medieval style to early renaissance by visiting local churches and museums.
One of the most beautiful sceneries in Italy can be found outside Verona: on the north side there are hills with small towns and vineyards and on the west side opens the view to the Lake Garda.
